2 august 2016 | On 2 August 2016 the Dutch legislator published the draft legislative proposal on investmentobjects and investmentbonds. The proposal sharpens the rules with regard to the offering of investmentobjects (beleggingsobjecten) and introduces a new legislative regime with regard to the offering of investmentbonds (beleggingsobligaties). The proposal aims to increase the level of protection offered to non-qualified investors and aims to halt illegal financial enterprises at the gate.
