26 January 2018 | KPN Ventures, Menzis, Monuta, Topfonds Gelderland and Oost NL start Health Innovation Fund III. After two successful predecessor funds, the third venture capital fund of Health Innovations starts to help innovative healthcare startups in the market introduction of their businesses.
In the coming years, the fund will invest € 15 million in 10 to 15 startups. The fund’s primary focus is to invest in innovative eHealth solutions that keep healthcare affordable and improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare.
The fund is also supported by the Dutch Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Climate, together contributing € 6 million under the Seed Capital Regulation.
VESPER Advocaten acted as advisor to Health Innovations on the structuring and launch of the fund.
